McKendree Village, a continuous care retirement community located in Hermitage, TN., has an excellent opportunity for an administrative support professional that is ready to use their exceptional interpersonal, organizational and technical skills to make a difference in the lives of Seniors and their families! The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Executive Director and responsibilities include preparing and editing correspondence, communications, newsletters, presentations and other documents; designing and maintaining spreadsheets, mail merges and databases; supporting event planning and coordination; coordinating project-based work including collecting data and analyzing reports; managing calendars, appointments and meeting schedules; recording and distributing accurate meeting minutes; and organizing and filing documents. This individual will also coordinate the Welcome Center reception desk staff and activities and act as a liaison with residents, families, staff and vendors. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience providing administrative support in a high level, fast paced environment; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional organizational, planning and interpersonal skills, be detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities. Successful candidate must also have an in-depth working knowledge and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and power point.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
