Summary
The Cloud Administrator must have demonstrated the ability to work with OpenSource(NoSQL) products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs and have demonstrated work experience with the enterprise level applications such as, but not limited to SCOM, SCCM, ePO, Service Manager. He/she must have demonstrated knowledge of virtualization products such as VMware, VCloud, HyperV, virtual desktops, as well as incident management and tracking, first and second level ticket support, knowledge management, and assist with the deployment and ongoing maintenance of new infrastructure tools as needed.
The qualified candidate will be fully aware of state-of-the-art cloud-based development,infrastructure, and performance technologies, products and solutions as well as industry best practices in the federal market. Candidate should have a working knowledge of Federal IT security controls and processes. Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions for both infrastructure and platform as a service.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Will implement and support Cloud infrastructure systems andsolutions.
Assist in the development and maintainance of virtualization capabilities with automated provisioning
Maintains system compliance and supports FedRamp controls aspublished in NIST 800-53 Rev 3.
Ensures optimized performances with capacity and resource bursting.
Develop and maintain highly available and redundent services.
Ensures that all operation guides and configuration documentsare well written follows a change management processes.
Uses industry standards for performance and load testing of all infrastructure components.
Interfaces with the IT managers, and users on business andtechnical issues.
Provides maintenance and technical support on solutions,utilizing current and emerging technologies.
Developes automated provisioning solutions.
Requirements include:
Candidate MUST be a US Citizen and possess (preferable) or be able to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation.
Bachelor of Science in the field of computer science, engineering, or another rigorous discipline.
Experience in a 24x7 hosting environment
Demonstrated experience with configuration management, monitoring, and clustering tools.
Formal industry certifications such as AWS Technical Professional, AWS Certified Solution Architect, Microsoft Certified Master and/or Architect (MCM/MCA), CISSP
Experience with ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) tools and techniques is a plus
Experience with system configuration and deployment automation technologies
Demonstrates an understanding and experience with current Cloud technologies from recognized industry leaders such as Microsoft (Azure), Amazon (Amazon Web Services), etc.
Experience designing Cloud-based solutions that vary in size and complexity from leading Cloud providers such as AWS, Google, Microsoft, etc.

years experience writing software scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, Python or Ruby for software automation.
Must have at least two (2) years experience managing and monitoring large data and application clusters greater than 200 nodes

years experience in the implementation and technical support of multiple hypervisors such as VMWare and HyperV.
