Optician responsibilities include educating and assisting patients in selecting their frames and lenses, taking glasses related measurements, presenting and dispensing glasses, adjusting and repairing glasses, maintaining glasses inventory, and communicating with doctors, staff, and patients.
Insurance Coordinator Responsibilities will include researching and filing insurance benefits for patients and posting payments when they arrive.
This dual role position will be about 50% opticianry (Traditional Optician Activities) and 50% administrative (Insurance).
This position allows a variety of tasks to avoid burnout on either role.
We offer competitive benefits and pay including cost sharing of advanced training with automatic raises with each level of advanced training.
We do not work on Saturdays and Sundays.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
