Statement of the Job
Work in resident trayline assembly area during serving time and in dishroom during clean-up time.
Duties of the Job
Move resident food delivery truck to proper position for loading.
Works in resident trayline during serving time.
Works in dishroom during clean-up time.
Recover trays from resident area after each meal.
All trash removed from dishroom.
Sweep and mop dishroom and trayline area.
Job Qualifications
Required:
Ability to speak and follow simple oral directions.
Able to read and write.
Stoops, stand and walks short distances most of working day.
Able to reach, lift and carry stack up to 60 lbs.
Able to pull and push cart minimum of 100 lbs. (food carts, trash, supplies).
Must be able to withstand heat while working around stoves and changes in temperature when going in and out of refrigerated or deep freeze areas.
Must be cautious while working with kitchen equipment to avoid cuts and burns and while working on wet and slippery floors to avoid falls.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
