PRIMARY DUTIES:
The successful candidate work amongst a high performance team to install, configure, monitor and tune the Hosting Services web platforms and provide engineering support/recovery services for the applications hosted on these platforms. This position is responsible for adhering to policies and procedures pertaining to the operation of the hosting technology platforms including IIS and SharePoint. The candidate is responsible for the operations of consistent standard-based environments in support of production business systems, analyzing and trending usage and performance data, and maintaining the health of the infrastructure.
This senior level position will require an understanding of the Microsoft Server platforms with emphasis on IIS 7.5/8.0 and SharePoint 2010 and 2013. The position will work with custom developed SharePoint and IIS applications requiring understanding of deployments and troubleshooting. In addition, the candidate will need an expertise on the Microsoft .NET platform with particular emphasis on security methodologies, memory management, log review, and communication capabilities.
Install, configure, monitor and tune IIS, SharePoint and other web hosting technologies; adhere to policies and procedures pertaining to deployment, security, maintenance, and disaster recovery. Will follow system performance standards and provide guidance on best practices.
Operations of technology platforms environments which include installs, upgrades, patches, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting of hosted applications.
Assist with application integration triage and participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.
The position will require the ability to clearly communicate and troubleshoot issues across multiple departments.
Responsible for implementation and periodic testing and support of web environments with respect to High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
Working knowledge of enterprise networking environments including Active Directory, name resolution, firewall methodology, common ports, and load balancing.
Ability to interact with people at a variety of technical and management levels. Will be responsible for problem tracing, performance tuning, troubleshooting of problems related to the applications deployments.

Produce and maintain accurate documentation, installation and operational qualification reports.
Knowledge of common monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation tools.
Self-reliant, self-motivated with a -can do- attitude.

Experience writing scripts in one or a combination of the following: C#, C++, PowerShell, or VB. Experience scripting against Big-IP F5 is desirable.
Demonstrates an understanding of the web application architecture, SDLC, basic programming practices, and scripting languages.
Demonstrates a strong working understanding of troubleshooting techniques and strategies including an ability to use troubleshooting tools.
Demonstrates an ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities effectively.
Bachelor-s degree in
